What to Remember Post-Accident

It’s understandable if you’re a bit flustered right after an accident, but there are a few things to keep in mind to make sure everything goes smoothly. Of course, the first thing you should do is to make sure everybody is okay, and, if necessary, call 911 for emergency assistance. Make certain to get a copy of the police report (if police have been called), or a report from an accident report centre. You will need this for the insurance claim. Most often, insurance companies will try to direct you to the closest collision centre to the accident’s location, but you have the ultimate right to choose where you want your vehicle to go. All you have to do is request they direct your vehicle to our CSN Collision Centre.

Costs & Coverage for Repair

Our team here at CSN Collision Centre works with many insurance companies directly, so we can get payment estimates and receive payment directly from them. It all depends on your policy and the details of the accident, as you may have a deductible payment on the repairs. Many people ask what to do if they don’t have roadside assistance or CAA, so, first, make sure to check with your insurance policy if you have a towing allowance, if not, call us at 613-382-3366 and we’ll assist you.

Rental Coverage

Ensure you know what you will be driving during the repair, as most insurance policies provide rental coverage during this time. It’s a stressful time, so you shouldn’t have to expend extra effort worrying about how you’ll get around during this time. We have both enterprise rental vehicles alongside loaners for you to use. Our CSN Collision Centre team will work with you so you get the best experience possible during your repairs.
