Chevy Silverado 1500, 1500HD, and 2500 Pickups

It's called work for a reason. If it was easy, everyone would provide the kind of indispensable service that is asked of them. But not every business is up to the challenge. The same is true of trucks. You count on your pickup to help you get the job done. The strength of the Silverado begins at its foundation, with a 3-piece modular frame that is rigid, yet lightweight. Silverado 2500HD and 3500 Pickups

Compared to their predecessors, the new heavy-duties feature larger cabs as well as frames that are stronger yet lighter than before. And the capacities represent an equally significant advance: the 2500HD delivers Chevy's biggest payload ever in a 3/4 ton pickup. The powertrains provide the power needed for serious hauling, beginning with the standard 300-horsepower Vortec 6000 V8. The 340-horsepower Vortec 8100 V8 and the 300-horsepower Duramax 6600 Diesel are also available. They come equipped with a standard 6-speed ZF manual transmission or an available 5-speed Allison 1000 automatic. So bring on your toughest assignments. And bring on the most capable 3/4 ton and 1-ton pickups in Chevy history.

Silverado 2500, 3500 and 3600 Chassis Cabs

You need a chassis cab that is both strong and powerful. The new generation of Chevy 3/4 ton heavy-duty and one-ton Chassis Cabs are tremendously capable. The frames are engineered to specific performance requirements, maximizing strength while minimizing weight. Most models provide industry standard 86.4 cm frame rail spacing, allowing for easy body installation. And the 3600 models provide standard cab-to-axel dimensions of 60" and 84". Their capacities are enormous. GVWRs up to 4,173 kg on the 2500 and up to 5,443 kg on the 3600 4x4 models. Power is provided by the standard 300-horsepower Vortec 6000 V8, an available 340-horsepower Vortec 8100 V8, and an available turbocharged 300-horsepower Duramax 6600 Diesel. But these Chassis Cabs are built to handle more than a body and a massive workload. They are also built for comfort, with roominess and high-quality seating that makes them a pleasure to ride in. So no matter how much you have to haul, or how long you spend inside your cab, Chevy's Silverado 2500, 3500, and 3600 Chassis Cabs have the strength you need to take the work out of work. Chevy Colorado

More raw power than any V6 in its class. Exceptional fuel efficiency. Only one truck is this strong and this innovative. Get a load of Colorado, the next-generation mid-size truck. Its all-new, available Vortec 3500 in-line 5-cylinder engine generates 220 hp and 225 lb.-ft. of torque and leaves lesser, 20th century engines in its dust. The standard Vortec 2800 in-line 4-cylinder engine develops more horsepower than any other 4-cylinder in its segment.
